Neighborhood and Community Development Seed Grants Available

Neighborhood

The Community Relations Commission (CRC) has expanded eligibility requirements for the Neighborhood Grant program in 2017. The grant program is now the “Neighborhood and Community Development Seed Grant” and will be open to not only neighborhood groups, but also community/resident groups and associations. The Commission seeks to provide seed funds to foster neighborhood connections and to encourage community activities that align with the mission of the CRC – to promote tolerance, diversity and inclusiveness in Worthington.

Each year, the CRC will also pick an additional priority to encourage positive community engagement and change on a specific topic. In 2017, this topic is awareness of Mental Health Issues and access to Mental Health resources. Grant funds will be awarded in three categories:

  • Neighborhood Community Building Grant
  • Diversity Awareness Grant
  • Mental Health Awareness and Access Grant

Please visit the Community Relations Commission page for the 2017 Neighborhood and Community Development Seed Grant application form and additional information. Grant application forms are due by May 12, 2017.
