Worthington City Service crews are getting ready for what might be our first measurable snowfall this weekend. In the overnight hours tonight they will be out pre-treating the roads with brine, to get the roads ready in advance of any snowfall. Brine is an anti-icing salt compound, which prevents icing and clears the road more effectively. The photo below shows one lane on Worthington Galena Road with the brine treatment on the right, and without the treatment on the left.Visit us online for more information about the City’s winter weather policy.
