Worthington Energy Savers Program

The Community Energy Savers (CES) program is designed to empower homeowners, renters and businesses to reduce energy usage in their community. By participating in CES, as a Worthington community member, you not only have the opportunity to save energy and money in your homes and businesses, but you can also help Worthington receive financial grants from AEP Ohio and Columbia Gas of Ohio. The CES prize earnings will go directly to help Worthington small businesses make energy efficiency upgrades.

Order a FREE Energy Saving Kit today to save energy at home at This kit provided by AEP Ohio includes options for LED light bulbs, a LED night light, weather stripping and insulated switch covers.

Columbia Gas customers with natural gas water heating may receive a free showerhead. Worthington residents who order an Energy Saving Kit or participate in other energy efficiency programs offered through the Worthington Community Energy Savers program before September 30th can help the Old Worthington Partnership earn up to $60,000 from AEP Ohio and Columbia Gas. These awards will be used for energy efficiency upgrades at our local small businesses.

Additionally, for a limited time, the Columbia Gas Home Energy Audit is available at no cost to customers. The audit includes comprehensive draft and air leakage testing, a safety check of your natural gas furnace, a personalized home energy report and access to generous rebates.
