This year, the Ghost Tours on High Street is set for Friday October 24, 2008. In partnership with the Friends of the Worthington Libraries, we will present a downtown tour of historical fascination and ghostly tales, intended for adults. Tours will be at 7pm and 8:30pm and last approximately an hour. Tickets are $10 per person, on sale October 1st at the Old Rectory, Worthington Hardware and Fritzy Jacobs.  The tours will take place, rain or shine.  However in the event of heavy rain, the tours will be rescheduled to the night of November 7, 2008.

Then, on Saturday the 25th, experience Halloween the old-fashioned way with the Family Night event at the Orange Johnson House yard from 5:30 to 7:30 pm. Everyone will get to try their hand at scarecrow making, apple pressing and apple snapping, plus listen to ghost stories by the fire in the keeping room. Tickets, at $10 per adult, will be on sale October 1st at the Old Rectory, Worthington Hardware and Fritzy Jacobs. Each adult admission may include up to four children.  If it is raining that evening, the festivities will be moved to the Griswold Center at 777 High St.
