Admission: $3 per person, children get in for free!
Griswold House Replica Playhouse: a playhouse-sized replica of the Griswold house has been built by Worthington high school students in the construction program. It was featured in the Memorial Day parade. The float will be entered in the Bicentennial Parade and the Independence Day Parade on the fourth of July.
The Griswold Children's Playhouse will be donated to the "All Children's Playground" at the Worthington Community Center.
Naming rights may be acquired through maximum donation.
Children's Activities: children's activities will take place in the lower level, based on children's literature on American history.
Stories being included so far: Warm as Wool by Scott Russell Sanders. Nothing Here But Trees by Jean Van Leeuwen.
Bicentennial Visitor Activities: visitors will be able to participate in making old-fashioned toys, rope, and grinding corn.
Garden Tours: "Aging in Place" hardscape, including graded ramps and patios; low-maintenance plantings.
Monthly consumer seminars.
