Grand Finale

The StreetFest Grand Finale will bring to a close (almost) the past year’s phenomenal experiences, events and activities that have been part of Worthington’s Bicentennial celebration. Following the cutting of the Worthington Bicentennial birthday cake, the Grand Finale will take place on the Suburban News Publications Stage at 5:30 pm, Saturday, October 25, 2003. Included in the half hour program will be reflections of the year past, visions of Worthington in the years ahead, and an exchange between the mayors of Worthington and sister-city Sayama, Japan. Another highlight will be the final performance of the Bicentennial theme songs, "The Bells of Worthington" and "On the Village Green" with Eric Gnezda, accompanied by Arkadiy Gips, the Bicentennial Singers and the children of Worthington.

A different kind of Grand Finale, "the grand Bicentennial fireworks" will go off at 7pm Sunday, October 26, at Thomas Worthington High School! Come experience this spectacular display and continue to build the future with pioneering spirit!
