200th Birthday Holiday Bazaar
The Library is 200 years old and we're celebrating with a birthday bash and holiday bazaar! It was on December 14 in 1803 that the Scioto Company met to plan the first library in Worthington. Help us pay tribute to those first library supporters and all those who came after by attending this holiday bazaar at Old Worthington Library.
The activities include:
- Handmade holiday wreaths, jewelry and baked goods available for sale in the Old Worthington Library lobby.
- Friends Gift Counter, with unique gifts for kids and readers of all ages.
- A Friends book sale featuring new and used books.
- A Cover to Cover book sale of children's books recommended by the library staff.
- A library birthday celebration, complete with cake courtesy of Mrs. Goodman's Baking Company at 2pm (help us blow out the candles!)
Sponsored by the Friends of the Worthington Libraries, all proceeds from the book sale and bazaar will be donated to the Worthington Libraries Endowment Fund established at The Columbus Foundation. Click here for the Worthington Libraries website.
