Historical Marker Dedication

October 22, 2002
Worthington Mayor Harvey Minton (right) and past-president of the
Worthington Women's Club Pat Upson after the
unveiling of the historical marker.

The Worthington Women's Club presented a special Bicentennial gift to the residents of Worthington to help celebrate the City's 200th birthday. A Historical Marker was placed near the Village Green during the Founders Week kick-off of Worthington's Bicentennial celebration. The two-sided marker is made of cast aluminum, is 45 inches wide and 42 inches tall. It is located on the east side of the Griswold Center near the flagpole.
