2:30 p.m. - Service of Thanks

A contemporary multi-faith service celebrating Worthington, present and future, will highlight the Founders Weekend activities on Sunday. The Founders Day Service of Thanks is bringing together a multitude of faiths with one purpose: to give thanks for Worthington and look ahead to the future. People of all faiths are invited to join in the service. The service will include participation from Bahai, Buddhist, Christian, Jewish, Islamic, Sikh, Shinto, Unitarian and other faith traditions.

The service will focus a great deal on children and hopes for the future of Worthington. Youth and Children's choirs will sing. Music also includes a special anthem written exclusively for the service. While the Founders Day Service of Thanks in 2002 focused on the past and Worthington's founders, the 2003 service looks at the faiths in Worthington today and vision for the future.
