Bicentennial Video: Get Your Copy Today!

Remember the rain from last year’s Founders Day celebration? How about the colorful spectacle that was the Heritage Ball, the marching Worthington timeline of the Homecoming Parade, or the sounds of the mules walking the national road on the Bicentennial Wagon Train? Well, you can re-live all the emotions, sights and sounds of Worthington’s year-long Bicentennial celebration by owning your own personal copy of the Worthington Bicentennial Highlights Video. Visitors to the Founders Weekend StreetFest watch the Bicentennial Video on the Superscreen.

The Worthington Bicentennial Commission, in partnership with Brainstorm Media, recorded all of the events throughout the year and produced a video that brings it all back to life. The video contains highlights from all of the Signature Events, including the Founders Day Festival and Service of Thanks in 2002, the Heritage Ball, Village Talks, Ohio Chautauqua, the Wagon Train, Homecoming CelebrationsThe Scioto Company Play, the Worthington Memory online scrapbook and Founders Weekend 2003. The Bicentennial Video made its debut during the Founders Weekend StreetFest on October 25th.

A limited number of videos are available to purchase at the Worthington Municipal Building, 6550 N. High Street in Worthington. The cost is $10 per video.
