Drug Take-Back Day Drive-Thru2019-04-27T10:00:00The City of Worthington is proud to partner with the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and the Solid Waste Authority of Central Ohio for Drug Take-Back Day. National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day aims to provide a safe, convenient, and responsible means for disposing prescription drugs while also educating the community about the potential for drug abuse and the importance of protecting the public’s health and the environment through proper disposal.
Drive through Worthington's convenient drop off location on Saturday, April 27th between 10am-2pm. Only pills will be accepted. No syringes, liquids or creams. For your privacy, it is recommended that you place the pills in a zip-lock bag and dispose of the bottle at home. If you are unable to drop off your prescriptions during the drive through hours, a permanent prescription drop box is available 24/7 in the Police Department lobby.
