The City of Worthington's City Council is comprised of seven members who are elected at-large by residents to serve a four-year term. The Council selects a President, who presides over City Council meetings and a President Pro-Tem who assumes the duties of the President in his/her absence.
Council is responsible for establishing local laws, setting policy, and approving programs of the City.
Worthington City Council typically meets the first and third Monday of each month for regular City Council meetings and the second Monday of each month for Committee of the Whole meetings. The meetings begin at or about 7:30 p.m. at the Worthington Municipal Building, 6550 N. High Street.
Council is on recess in August.
