Community Relations Commission Membership Openings

The City of Worthington is seeking applications from individuals interested in serving three-year terms
on the Worthington Community Relations Commission. The Commission meets the first Tuesday of the month, 7:00 pm, at the Municipal Building.   The Community Relations Commission (CRC) is composed of nine voting members, at least seven of which shall be residents of the City of Worthington.  Members serve without compensation. 

The CRC promotes mutual understanding and cooperation among all members of the Worthington community
and advises City Council on issues related to promoting good will and positive relationships among the citizens
of Worthington.
  The CRC annually sponsors the Martin Luther King Community Celebration, the Neighborhood Grant program, the Good Neighbor Award and other programs of community interest.

Those interested in service on the Community Relations Commission should complete the
Board, Commission, and Committee Application
and submit to the Office of the City Manager,
6550 N. High Street, Worthington 43085 or by email to . The application
deadline is Friday, June 3, 2016 at 5pm.

Programs & Services
The Community Relations Commission (CRC) works to promote an atmosphere of mutual understanding and cooperation among all members of the Worthington community. The Commission acts in an advisory capacity to Worthington City Council on community issues related to fair and equal treatment for all persons.  The CRC annually sponsors the Good Neighbor Award, the Neighborhood Grant Program, and the Martin Luther King Community Celebration and many other programs of community interest.  For more information, contact staff liaison Lori Trego at 854-7171 or .
