An application has been received for a proposed development on the lot that is currently undeveloped south of the CVS at 890 & 910 High St. The applicant is proposing two new buildings. The north building is proposed to be approximately 4,272 sq. ft. with a full first floor and a faux second story. Pet People, which recently announced plans to locate its headquarters in Worthington, is expected to have a pet supply retail location here. The 2-story south building is proposed to be approximately 12,804 sq. ft. with retail on the first floor and offices on the second.

Developers plan to demolish the existing small office building to the rear at 33 E. North Street., that currently houses a medical facility. This portion of the site would be incorporated into the overall development and would provide additional parking and landscaping.  The proposed buildings are in the same location as a previously approved development that never occurred. 

The proposal will be discussed at the October 13, 2016 Municipal Planning Commission/Architectural Review Board meeting.
