The Department of Administration is primarily responsible for the day to day adminsitrative operations of the City, economic development, personnel and human resources, community relations and public information and the issuance of licenses and permits for a wide variety of activities ranging from door-to-door solicitation to garage sale permits.
Worthington City Council has approved Comprehensive Plan that is designed to guide growth and development in the City for the next 15 years. Plan elements include:
- Land use planning
- Infrastructure needs
- Thoroughfare improvements
- Economic development Redevelopment opportunities
- Population & demographics
- Housing needs
- Regional issues
