The City of Worthington, Division of Police offers a single type of fingerprinting service for the purposes of employment background checks. The Division of Police offers a State of Ohio background check utilizing our Internet based WebCheck system. This service is available to any resident of Ohio and the fee is $25 per submission.
The Worthington Division of Police, as of June 6, 2008, will no longer ink & roll fingerprints on paper fingerprint submission cards. National/Federal checks can be completed through private companies located through out the metro-Columbus area or through an agency subscribing to the National WebCheck system. The Division of Police does not have the electronic systems required to submit fingerprints for Federal background checks.
Three Columbus area police agencies provide this National WebCheck service. You may contact them directly for information. These agencies include; the Columbus Division of Police, the Franklin County Sheriff's Office and the Ohio State University Police Department.
