Household Hazardous Waste Collection Schedule
Due to budget constraints, the Solid Waste Authority of Central Ohio (SWACO) is no longer hosting a Household Hazardous Waste drop-off in Worthington. However, residents still have some options for disposing of hazardous wastes in an environmentally responsible manner.
Permanent HHW Location:
Any resident of Franklin County can visit the permanent Household Hazardous Waste Center at
1249 Essex Ave. Columbus, OH 43201.

12pm - 6pm |
Please note that SWACO will no longer accept latex paint. Latex paint can be dried up with sand or kitty litter. Once the paint has solidified, the lid can be left off the can and set out for regular trash pick-up. Please visit www.swaco.org for more information.
Weekend Drop Off Locations:
SWACO will also host weekend drop-offs at four locations in 2010.
All four drop-offs run from 8am to 2pm.
