Adult Softball Leagues - Age 18 & Up
January - March
 
In order to provide a fun, competitive atmosphere, Worthington offers 4 different divisions of Summer Softball for adults- from competitive to recreational, men's leagues to co-rec.  League registration begins in early March and games begin the week of April 28, 2008.  Please see the links provided below for more detailed information.

Badminton - Adult  
 Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall
 
Join Derek Lee on Sunday afternoons for open doubles play.  Badminton is a full-body workout sport that builds quick reflexes, aerobic endurance, and rapid hand-eye coordination.  Derek will help coordinate matches and assist with pairings.

Basketball - Age 18 & Up, 30
January - March
 
Our Adult Winter Basketball Leagues offer two options- an 18 and over league that plays on Wednesday evenings and Sunday afternoons and a 30 and over league that plays Sunday evenings.  Each team in the league will play a seven week season against the other teams.  Following the season, teams will be seeded according to their standings and play a single elimination tournament to determine the league champion (each team is guaranteed a minimum of 8 games).

Girls Summer Softball - Grades K-12
May - July
 
The goal of this fast pitch softball league is to upgrade each girl's ability level, understanding and enjoyment of the game.  The program is designed to allow each girl to participate equally.  Our coaches are encouraged to be certified by the National Youth Sports Coaches Association.  The league will be broken down into 5 divisions:  T-Ball, Mini, Junior, Intermediate and Seniors.  Games will start in early June and run through July.  Registration must be done at the Community Center as additional player information and medical release forms need to be filled out by a parent or guardian.

Men's Handicap Golf - Age 18 & Up
May - August
 
Features 9-hole play at Arrowhead Lakes Golf Course for 15 Tuesday afternoons, and features an 18-hole finale.  League uses a modified non USGA handicap system.  Social, with a hint of competition, and golf ball prizes.  Substitutes are always welcome.

Recreational Volleyball - Age 18 & up  
 Spring & Fall
 
Adult Open Volleyball is held in our South Gym, with one court dedicated to Recreational Play and one dedicated to Power Play.  Recreational volleyball is designed for those individuals interested in fun, fitness oriented, noncompetitive play.  Power volleyball is available for those individuals interested in a more organized competitive form of play.  If space is available, walk-ins will be accepted.  Walk-in fee is $5.

Team Tennis - Age 16 & up
June - September

This six-week league is open to adults, ages 16 years and older.  Mondays will be used for clinic and skill development with league play scheduled on Wednesdays.  The league will be a team format, with teams being set up during class time.  Points will be awarded by teams but compilded on an individual basis for 4 our of the 6 weeks.
