Worthington Mayor's Court
Mayor's Court takes place at the Worthington Municipal Building, 6550 N. High Street, every Tuesday at 6:00 p.m., except during weeks when Monday is a holiday. During those weeks, Court takes place on Wednesday.
Harvey S. Minton was appointed by Worthington City Council to serve as Mayor of the City of Worthington. Mayor Minton is an attorney with offices in Worthington. His primary responsiblity is the administration of Mayor's Court. The Mayor is appointed by City Council for a two-year term. Mayor Minton has served as Mayor since 1999 and presides over many civic functions as the ceremonial head of the community. He also presents Proclamations to honor special events, groups, or individuals and performs weddings. The duties of Vice-Mayor are fulfilled by James J. Lorimer.
