The City of Worthington utilizes a third-party contractor to perform invoicing of those patients who are transported to a medical facility by our emergency medical service units. The current company is named Medicount.
Following a transport and the uploading of patient demographic information, Medicount will mail a bill for services. This will ask for your health insurance coverage information and it is not a scam.
