American Red Cross - Lifeguard Instructor Training

Ages: 15Y and up

The purpose of the American Red Cross Lifeguarding Instructor Trainer course is to train instructor trainer candidates to teach the lifeguard courses and presentations in the American Red Cross Lifeguarding program by developing their understanding of how to use the course materials along with how to conduct training sessions and evaluate participants progress. Successful instructor trainer candidates will instill the importance of a lifeguard’s job to respond quickly and effectively to emergencies. To identify and/or prevent potential drowning and injuries that can lead to life or death situations for swimmers of all ages and abilities. Upon successful completion of the course will allow the participant to instruct and lead their own Lifeguard Training.
