Meet the Candidates Forum

The Franklin County Consortium for Good Government, a coalition of non-partisan organizations in Central Ohio, is again organizing “Meet the Candidates” Forums in Franklin County and nearby communities. In Worthington, the event will feature candidates for Ohio Attorney General, 21st District House of Representatives, Franklin County Auditor, as well as the City of Worthington Electric Aggregation issue and Worthington Schools Bond Issues.

The Franklin County Consortium for Good Government, in cooperation with the League of Women Voters, the Dublin-Worthington Rotary, and the Worthington Branch of the AAUW, will hold a “Candidates’ Forum” On Tuesday, October 9, 2018, at The McConnell Arts Center in Worthington. 


The following races will be held at this site:  Ohio Attorney General, 21st Ohio House of Representatives, and the Franklin County Auditor race.   In addition, there will be presentations on the Worthington School Bond Issues and the Worthington Electric Aggregation ballot issue.  Time line listed below.


Come and get beyond Facebook and the posted pamphlets and see what the candidates really have to say. Written questions will be accepted from the floor.  If you have a burning question, please come and ask it… in writing to all candidates.


A reception for candidates/speakers will begin at 6:30 with the Forum starting at 7 pm.  The event is free and open to the public.

Each race will have 1 minute opening statement – written questions from the floor – 1 minute close . Only the actual candidates, no surrogates, are allowed to participate.
