On Thursday March 23, sibling co-authors, Donna and William Burtch will present “Uncovering a Lost Piece of Civil War History” sharing insights from their book, W.G. THE OPIUM-ADDICTED PISTOL TOTING PREACHER WHO RAISED THE FIRST FEDERAL AFRICAN AMERICAN UNION TROOPS published in May 2022. Eric Gnezda, the creator, host, and producer of the PBS music series, Songs at the Center, will moderate this event.
