The Worthington Farmers Market was established in 1987 and is one of the largest and most respected markets in Ohio. Over 70 vendors participate in the market which is held in downtown Worthington on Saturday mornings from 8am to noon.

The City of Worthington and Sharon Township Police are proud to partner with the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and the Solid Waste Authority of Central Ohio for Drug Take-Back Day.
The National Prescription Drug Take Back Day aims to provide a safe, convenient, and responsible means of disposing of prescription drugs, while also educating the general public about the potential for abuse and medications.
Drive through Worthington's convenient drop off location on Saturday, October 28th between 10am-2pm. Only pills will be accepted. No syringes, liquids or creams. For your privacy, it is recommended that you place the pills in a zip-lock bag and dispose of the bottle at home.
If you are unable to drop off your prescriptions during the drive through hours, a permanent prescription drop box is available 24/7 in the Police Department lobby.

Worthington residents may drop off yard waste the last Saturday of each month (March to October) between Noon and 3:00 p.m. There are no quantity, size, nor bundling restrictions. Please enter the gate at the north end of the Service Building. Residents must show proof of residency.
This drop-off is for residential use ONLY. Residents hiring private contractors to perform work on large tree removals should contact the Solid Waste Authority of Central Ohio (SWACO) at 871-5100. Drop off is available at Kurtz Brothers at the corner of Westerville Rd. and Dempsey Rd. south of I-270 in Westerville.
