Santa will once again be stopping in Worthington to pick up his mail. The mailbox will be located at the North entrance of the Griswold Center, 777 High Street.

The Worthington Division of Fire is collecting toys for needy children this holiday season through the Firefighters for Kids toy drive. Donations can be dropped off anytime 24/7 between now and Christmas Eve. Worthington area residents are also invited to drive through the Worthington Fire Department, 6500 N. High Street, and drop off toy donations at the drive-thru events, scheduled for Saturday, December 8th and 15th between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
Food donations benefiting the Worthington Food Pantry and Resource center will also be collected. A list of needed food items can be found online at www.worthingtonfoodpantry.org. Please bring food items to drop off during the Drive from 8am-3pm.

From November to April, the Worthington Farmers Market takes place at the Shops at Worthington Place! Come shop for fresh produce, plants, meats and other homemade foods, desserts and crafts.

Please join Worthington Chapter DAR as we gather on National Wreath Laying Day to remember our fallen, honor those who serve and teach younger generations the value of freedom. At more than 1200 locations across the country simultaneous programs will be held for Wreaths Across America at 12 noon on December 15, 2018. Following the ceremony, we will adjourn to lay wreaths on the headstones of our veterans at Flint Rd Cemetery, St John’s Episcopal Cemetery and Walnut Grove Cemetery- Circle of Honor. As each wreath is placed the veterans name is voiced thanking them for their service. Details on wreath laying will be provided at the ceremony as there is limited parking at some cemeteries.
